Research
Wood-to-Wheels research and education projects address technical and societal barriers that fall into four main categories: (1) the production of sustainable forest resources, (2) the process of producing ethanol and co-products from biomass, (3) the re-design of vehicles and engines to more efficiently utilize biofuels, and (4) assessment and decision making.
Currently 22 faculty members participate in the W2W initiative.
